![]() Nittany Greyhounds is a group of greyhound lovers in Central Pennsylvania. We promote the appreciation of these wonderful dogs by telling people about our dogs and letting people meet them. We facilitate adoptions and provide support to new greyhound families. We are a registered, nonprofit, all volunteer organization. Our funding sources are tax-deductible donations and sales of greyhound related merchandise. We provide on-going support and education to all who adopt a retired racing greyhound, through personal contact, social events, and newsletters. The area covered by Nittany Greyhounds extends West to Sharon Pa, South to Johnstown/ Harrisburg/Carlisle/ Huntingdon, East to Williamsport/Shamokin, and North to the central NY Border. The Nittany Greyhound kennel is located about 12 miles from State College, off route 220. Meet some members of the Nittany Greyhound family:
